Dear Commissionars:

I have read your agenda for the meeting on March 7, and am appalled that the county would not plan better. The idea that those who petitioned earler to get their road paved were able to have it funded 50% by the county and moving forward the residents would be 100% responsible for any new paved roads. The county needs to step up and take responsibility for improvements in their county that resident pay taxes for.

Additionally, how can the county in good conscience plan to charge citizens on Arrowhead $35,000 for guardrails and road adjacent to a canal that belongs to the county and our neighbors on El Paso were only assessed $7,500 for same work on their road.

It is unfair and unheard of that they have the same conditions and were only charged $7,500 doesn’t make sense.

The county has created a mess in the neighborhood with some streets paved and leading to a dirt road. Also, now that only a few roads are dirt, off road vehicles and kids in trucks find their way to those roads increasing the traffic on these roads and damaging them even further.

The same consideration that was used to pay for the previous roads should be applied to the remaining streets that need to be paved in order to make our neighborhood whole.

One last question: WHO OWNS ARROWHEAD? AND HOW CAN WE REACH THAT PERSON OR ENTITY.

My husband, child and I hope you take our comments into consideration.
